Thanks Leroy!
Ferret,
They remind me of a cross between a circus clown and a 2 year old little kid with just a tiny bit of mongrel dog thrown in the mix. LOL!!!
I had a ball watching a bear I chose not to shoot last year roll around and play on a pile of bread and grease I put out on the ground on my last hunt last season. I almost laughed out loud several times. LOL!!
I carried in a few more play toys and more food for them today. I took in a 25 gallon metal drum FULL of Meat scraps with molassas covering it. I also brought in a 25 gallon plastic drum with a wired on lid full of popcorn with a little molassas and frenchfry oil for good measure and 2 1" holes for them to wiggle and shake the kernals out one at a time. I figured it would keep them interested after they drain the main barrel. I also wired a 5 gallon bucket full of ROTTEN meat up on the side of a tree. The bucket has several holes drilled in it to let the JUICES drain out. LOL!!! I thought it might bring in a few more bears by the smell and I dont' think they can get it open, but knowing them, they WILL!!! All that with a barrel full of popcorn and meat scraps again should keep them busy till I get back out on monday or tuesday. Still not sure if I am going to hunt it then or not. I might wait a little bit longer to hopefully catch a BIG BOAR cruising for a hot Sow as they come in heat.
