What was I thinkin'?!
« on: July 22, 2010, 07:30:00 PM »
My youngest daughter wanted to prowl through my arrow making supplies this afternoon, so I let her help me go through it all. It's been stored in my shop for some time. We found 8 raw cedar shafts  spined 78-82# weighing 489-516 grains. I thought I'd given those to the Coast Guard guy I gave an 80# Martin Hunter to several years ago. Don't have a clue what I might do with those shafts, since I shoot ~50#'s now. But it did bring back memories of being very tired after shooting 15 arrows!  :knothead:

If you decide to do a give away you can put my name in the hat. I'm still shooting cedars spined from 65# to 100#.

You are right about the saying.

However, I think it is "Porsche" not bows.

That's why I drive an old Ford.

I only shoot 55 lbs and use 500 spine arrows.  I guess I must not be compensating for anything.    :biglaugh:

Following that line of thought, maybe I should switch to a 25# bow!  :smileystooges:
