Ramen dowels

where can I order some ramen dowels, what other dowels are good for cheap arrow building......James

About any hardware store or try this link   http://www.kustomkingarchery.com/1_4-Inch-Raminwood-Shafting/productinfo/A3100/  

Less than $4 a dozen or $19 for 100 through KK.  Even cheaper from the hardwarestore.

You can also get 1/4 inch cedar but they are way more expensive.

Buckeye, thanks for the info, I was needing 5/16 if they are avaliable anywhere. I have used 5/16 poplar from Lowes 69 cents each 4 foot long. Takes a little time to find some straight ones in the pile.............James

If you're making them for yourself, I'd suggest birch dowels from American Woodcrafters. About $25.00/100, and they make great arrows. Kustom King must have some of the last of the Ramin, since it isn't imported into the US any more.
