I'm going back and forth between a couple bows but the Bear takedown is set up for these Vapor Pro's with 200 gr Grizzly El Grande's.Onestringer cap wraps and the broadheads are honed scalpel sharp with a KME broadhead sharpener.Total arrow weight is 715 grains with 425 grs up front.FOC is 29%.

If I use my 1978 Bighorn, the arrows are Gold Tips with 190 Grizzly El Grande's and they weigh 709 grs.

I have been getting my system down with the KME broadhead sharpener and have never carried sharper broadheads in the field.Only 11 days till antelope season.

Thats a good question. My problem this year is that I have bought a Treadway,ACS CX,and a ILF Morrison.I think the arrow problem is gonna be solved by using Magnus vented heads on my CE shafts weighing in @ 491 grains. All subject to change, i believe.Shooting 45 to 49lbs on either bow i think these should work out fine,I hope...

I'm shooting my DAS riser with new 55# HEX 5 limbs from Sid. The hunting arrows that are shooting extremely well are Beman MFX 340's, 29" with a 200 grain Razorcap. My wife is shooting her DAS with W&W XQ-1 limbs, 45# @ 26" and a 27" MFX 500 shaft with 200 grains of four blade Phantoms (that's a 100 grain head and a 100 grain inseert),

Over the off time I have bought a couple different heads - to include the Ashby head. Like that head but after shooting one into dirt and shingles? jury is still out.
Probably go back to 175(?) WWs (no vent) and some 160 grizzlies. out of my 55# Schafer tip.
