Its elk for me this year, but I am thinking hard about UT muleys next year. We'll see if I start drawing some elk tags. Don't forget right now is WY pref. points period!!!
Ryan, you don't have an LE tag this year do you???

Sept.1st it starts 2 months of probably the best darn Mule deer hunting in Southern Saskatchewan.I usually hunt all season and I think in 5 or 6 years I,ve never seen another hunter. Not uncommon to see 40-50 deer a day.Lots of 140-180" deer.

Those buck are awesome! Nothing like trying to get around a group of Mule deer slowly feeding across a side hill in the hopes of getting a good shot, great pics, I'm counting the days!

Nice. Someday I'll get out there during the fall.

Mule deer are the toughest animals I have ever hunted, hands down. I accumulated 10 empty tags before finally putting number 11 on this one. And it's not like I was holding out and passing up little ones - they are just tough with a stickbow!

Since I'm 0 for 2, looks like I've got atleast 8 more good hunts to enjoy before I can retire from the muley game. Love that pic, Whip.

Here is a couple, I like the pics without me better. I don't even know if I will get to hunt deer in my own state this year, didn't get my draw tag and am waiting to see what leftover tags are available.

Awesome bucks guys! Whip, I couldn't agree with you more. I missed a fairly easy shot at a monster nontypical back in the late eighties and although I have shot several smaller bucks since the big one is still eluding me. Maybe this year!

If everyone keeps showing pics like these I don't know if I can wait! Whip ten years for a buck like that is worth the wait, most locals never shoot one that nice bow or gun. Most of my good mulies pics are on slide film but here is a few form the winter range last december. Notice the one still in velvet.
