Carp, a Turtle, and Paint...my morning...
« on: July 30, 2010, 10:26:00 AM »
Although it was surprisingly slow for some reason, I did manage to get a couple shots...

After getting 2 shots and landing 2 fish, I went back out to the last spot I'd shot a fish to try to get another.

Half hour later, hadn't seen another fish, so I headed back to shore to get my 2 that were on the stringer and head back downstream toward the truck.

When I got about 3 ft. from my fish...a rock moved right next to them       :scared:

This guy was about to feast on an easy meal...

•

Not happy!
•
•

Making his get away...
•

The fish in my left hand(bottom fish in next pic)is one of the biggest, if not the biggest,  I've shot all year.Gave me one heck of a fight!
•
•

Then as I got back to my truck I saw something else I wasn't expecting......

By my truck I ran into this very talented lady...

There were two ladies painting, and both were genuinely interested in what I was doing.

They asked was if I was hunting, or fishing....I said... "well both"     ;)

Nice. That would be very cool if she would paint you in standing on the rocks at full draw.

Will they Pastel you into the picture?  That would be pretty cool.

I was harrassed when I bowfished on the Wallkill. Sounds like you crossed paths with nicer women than I.

Is that considered baiting      :goldtooth:

Yeah you should have asked her to paint you in there while at full draw standing out on those rocks Curt. She probably would have asked you to take off your shirt but don't be afraid of that.
