Just got off the phone with John Dill
« on: July 30, 2010, 12:31:00 PM »
I was looking for a new quiver for my Firefly longbow and after seeing all the positive comments about John Dill and his products I gave him a call. What a nice guy! I wasn't sure which quiver I wanted to order and John took the time to listen to what I was looking for and gave me some really good advice. Bottom line is that I ordered a Kanati angle quiver and John told me if I din't like it when it came he would swap it out for another model of my choosing. My experience with John is the same type experience I had when I ordered my Firefly bow from Jim Jones. It seems like the vast majority of folks I have ever dealt with through Trad Gang are just those kind of people! Anyway, thanks for your time and advice John ... I am  really looking forward to trying out that quiver when it gets here!
To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.

John is one of the best, for sure.  I don't think you have to worry about swapping that quiver out for something else - it is a great design.  I think you'll love it

Yep, John is one of the nicest guys you could ever talk to and he makes some darn nice quivers.  The angle model is my favorite and I think you'll be pleased with it as well.
Chasing my kids and my degree for now but come next fall the critters better look out.  ;)

This doesn't surprise me a bit - but it's always so nice to hear others voice the same opinions I have formed over a relatively long friendship, and use of John's products/designs.

I met him and bought one of his angle quivers up at Denton Hill.  A great guy to deal with and a great product.

Yeah I spoke with him last Sunday night- finally decided to order a quiver so I called.  He &  the Mrs. were on the way back from Denton and he pulled over on the side of the highway to "bowhunt" with me and get my order!  Good dude for sure....I'm hoping my ebony pro hunter will be here today so I can mount it on my Shrew CH.

If so a good day for a photo op I'm thinking!
