Nanook broadheads from Alaska Bowhunting Supply
« on: July 31, 2010, 06:57:00 PM »
Hi!
I`ve been looking on the Nanook bh from Alaska bowhunting supply.

Is there anybody that have tested them?

If so what are the feedback to share?

Does anybody have pics from test/hunt?

I shot them through some other broad heads, literally    :scared:   absolutely one tough forged stainless one piece head but I have never hunted with them. 300 grains is too much for my arrow . Some African clients have shot some elephants with them lately.  Personally I like this design over this head's brother the Ashby. if was going to enter a broad head sharpness contest, the nanook would be my entry. I can get them razor scary sharp. Not sure this helps but is my experience
Aim down your arrow because thats where it's going.

I think they look like a big brother of the regular silver flame.
I tested the silver flames in SA last year and like them a lot. Unfortunately they don't come in the 300 grain head, so maybe the Nanook is a good replacement. But it`s nice to get some info before I go and burn of a couple of hundreds  USD to get them.
