"Huge Smiles" from a long box for my daughter
« on: August 01, 2010, 10:43:00 AM »
Gotta give thanks to Chris Surtees for putting a smile big as Texas on my daughter face yesterday. He sent her this little Bear recurve, which I kept a secret. A couple weeks ago, she told me she wanted a bow that makes a loud sound when it hits the target like dad's, LOL. The little all fiberglass bow she has wasn't much stronger than a tight rubberband, so the seed was planted to be looking. We were having a garage sale Sat morning when the mail lady pulls up with a long box addressed to her. She grabs it like it's gonna sprout legs and run off asking what is it, who's it from a couple dozen times. I grabbed the camera to catch her opening it up. Well, the pics speak for themselves. Of course, every kid in the neighborhood has seen and held it by now. I owe you at least one Chris for producing a special memory for her !! THANKS

What a beautiful "happY face" - great eyes and smile on that youg'un, Froggy. Pretty little Bear bow too. Nice job, Chris. Don't ya just love bringing archery happiness to kids and their families? She (and Dad) are going to have so much fun with that gift.
