I just ordered 3 dozen woodies, have 2 dozen carbons from 3 Rivers, at least 2 dozen 2216s, and half as many "extra" arrows as Bowdoc in a 10 gallon bucket  :)

I am like Terry...what if I needed some arrows and didn't have them   :scared:

I've been hand selecting cedar shafts at shoots and rendezvous for the past 25 years or so.  Probably don't need to buy any more, ever, but I probably will.

Wish I'd stockpiled Chundoo-Lodgepole Pine in the lower spines when I sold the business 5 years ago. Oh well, have lots of Sitka Spruce and aluminum;s in lower spines to last me the rest of my life and then some.

My wifw says "how many arrows do you need" after making up several dozen and I always say "as many as I can buy, you never know when you may run out".

Gee...I thought I was gettin' a little OCD about arrows 'til I saw some of these posts...with 217 mixed wood/alum/carb as I just counted (& a dozen new wood customs on the way), I see my symptoms are not too severe, comparatively (yet).
Being more of a shooter than collector, I still manage to accumulate "extra" stuff that I sometimes wonder why I "need"

I have about 300 laying around. Can't have too many, but from looking at these posts, I'm on the short end in comparison to a lot of you guys.

Does being in the process of making 8 dozen woodies count?  How about if they are for your daughters, God son, and two buddies.

I am putting together an order for 4 dozen more carbon shafts.  And the stockpiling continues....

You know you have to many when every time you turn around in the work room a bucket of arrows fall over.  Well over 25 doz. or so and not a bad one in the bunch.

I've started.  Arrow making is addictive.  I like it when my friends shoot stuff with what I made them.  I just keep running out of feathers.

I'm on the light side of arrows. I've got 2 dozen 2212s and 1 dozen 2215s on the way from Bowhunters Superstore. I figure 5 dozen of each should last me the rest of my shooting lifetime.

My wife has seen me shoot, so she doesn't mind when I order more.  I just try to make them fast enough to keep a full quiver.

I have 12 to 14 dozen aluminum shafts in the sizes I use and a couple hundred mixed arrows made up....just bought a pro crester so I can make some purdy ones as well as functional ones. Still buying up all the xx75s I can find in the right sizes when the price is right.
Bowhunting is "KILL and EAT" not "Catch and Release".....Semper Fi!
