Longer bows are more stable, less sensitive to finger placement on the string, torquing and more consistent shot to shot than shorter bows. So yes, most people shoot longer bows more accurately than shorter bows at any distance. But length is relative.  A 60-inch bow is short for someone with a long draw.  And a 56-inch bow may be sufficient for someone with a short draw, say 25-26 inches.  Bow design also plays a substantial role in shootability/repeatable accuracy.
