Snaked limbs!

After reading, re reading and reading again I bought a pair of prairie rattler skins and put them on my take-down recurve. After much encouragement I have almost finished the project, one more coat of urethane tonight and tomorrow, here are some pics as promised!
This bow was made by myself and my mentor back in 1993. It's 53 lbs @ 28" and has gotten me my first deer and turkey. Good mojo!

Man does that look sweet. Skins really give a bow a makeover and new look. Super job for a first time project!
