Please write when you get settled in Mark.

I pray you have a safe and uneventful move.

I'll go ahead and ask this question now knowing it'll be a little while before you can answer.

My curiosity needs more information about what this entails?  "Moving to a hunting ranch"????

Good luck!

God bless,Mudd

Welcome to Texas! What CA desert region are you moving from? If it's the Imperial Valley region, then the recent 107 degree weather we're having will make you feel right at home!

As a misplaced Texan currently in California, I say you are a lucky man!  I have realtives all over that part of TX.  My wife and I miss TX a lot, but hate to give up the mountains in Northern Calif.  Had to learn to make my own pit BBQ and finally got some stores to carry Big Red!  Good luck -- beautiful country.
Blessed are the peacemakers

Mark, with those hills, spring-fed rivers and more deer than people, you are headed to one of the most beautiful parts of TX. Many of us Texans when asked what our favorite part of TX is will answer, "Well, first off ... right here where I'm at, but if I can't be here, then put me in the Hill Country." You are in for a treat, and welcome to the Lone Star State. John
