Most of us choose camo that is too dark for our environment. Never hurts to go lighter as long as the pattern is not too small.
I admit I have no idea what camo you are talking about -- I haven't bought camo in 20 years, but make sur I am always wearing something that has broken patterns: plaid, squares, stripes etc.
Wearing an old pair of overalls and a dark green longsleeve shirt, I was taking a break and watching several doe with youngsters walking about 25 yds from me. One of the doe slowly walked up to me, carefully stuck out her nose until it was about an inch from mine, then turned and walked back to her group and they walked on down the trail.
Since then I have not been too worried about camo, even with elk.
