Darren   I like them and how did you do the footings on the crown?  I would use them in a flash if they dont work for you.

Raging Water   Its fun to stay at the YMCA!! Matt did you  forget about the all pink cedars that I made for you?  You are a big fun loving guy now come on admit it you wear pink all the time.

This is for you folks who have questions about flame cresting: The cresting kit comes with three thin brass templates with various shapes cut into them. You place these templates over your shaft and burn the patterns you want into the shaft using a butane torch. Over the years, I have combined the shapes on the templates to come up with new patterns. The "footings" you see at my arrow's crown are just burned to resemble a footing. The cresters take some practice because it's really easy to get the templates too hot and they will scorch your shaft in places you didn't want it scorched. Shriver Archery no longer has a website but the flame cresting kit can be found at Kustom King Archery  http://www.kustomkingarchery.com/Flame--Crester/productinfo/A3300/

PS. Jim, I got my pink bibs on order! I'll get us both a pair and we can wear them at the squirrel hunt.

They look great. I too shoot pink that way when I miss arrow doesn't blend with anything. If it does I am hunting in wifes closet.

Very cool.  Those are almost too pretty to shoot - but only almost.
Don't meddle in the affairs of dragons; people are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

Great detail.  I would probably just hang those up and shoot my ugly ones though.  I'd be afraid to lose one!

Jim, a peach would have a better chance at growing a full beard than I would.

I gotta say those are all durned nice looking arrows - I don't care who you are - LOL

Darren, that's funny but don't feel bad - I'll be 75 in Oct and I still have the same relationship with a peach. The worst of it is the limited whiskers I do have were always like barbed wire, so I still never got away with much - shaving-wise.
