Kudos to nc recurveman

nc recurveman has to be proud!

His nephew(David) came to live with his family and developed an interest in traditional archery after watching his uncle shoot.

nc recurveman  started him off right, not just handing him a bow but allowing David to take jobs to raise the money for his own bow.

David now owns and shoots a neet little JC Penny bow made by Wing named "Sweetness".

I think you'll agree that David shows a lot of natural talent for our sport.

Thank you Cleve for being a good uncle and role model for David.

David keep up the practice and I sure hope we get a chance to meet someday.

Yes, "sweetness" is a good name.  It's one thing to see a young man out there shooting, but it's even better to see him so excited about it he buys his own bow.  There's so many things young folks can spend their money on.  This is really great to see.

Congrats Cleve!

I have to say I'm very proud of him, he came up with the money on his own. I can't thank Mr. Roy (mudd) enough for selling him such great bow. He does show some natural talent with it, I genarally just have to remind him, "take the string to your head not your head to the string". lol
