Help, Grizzly broadheads and hood quivers
« on: August 11, 2010, 11:04:00 AM »
My Grizzly broadheads do not fit deep enough into my Great Northern quiver. They tend to back out. Does anyone have a remedy? The only thing I can think of is extending the foam of the hood. I may have to go back to my catquiver.

Kevin, I've had a similar problem. It's not pretty, but you can extend the hood enough to cover the blades with some camo duct tape, double-layered to cover the sticky side. It's not as secure as a hard hood, but it will prevent those annoying nicks.

Kev,

You can talk to Don Ward at Eagle's Flight..

I shoot 190's and Don has new style quiver that will accomodate those length heads without leaving any blade exposed.
