Can Fletcher Fletch 'Em? Judge for yourself!
« on: August 12, 2010, 06:54:00 PM »
Had some Bear Razor heads that my beautiful spousal unit got for me some time back and had "Fletcher" mount them on some Surewood shafts. Between the 6 shafts (30" BOP) they weighed in between 558gr - 562gr. I'd say that was pretty amazing!

I had them made specifically for the Bear Kodiak, 50# @ 28". Do you think they'll work?!   :D

It's almost like he's done this before! Looks great with the bow. Got to love those Surewoods!

NICE! I will see the fletcher at GLLI this weekend. I plan to get a dozen or two.
I hope to see a nice blacktail laid low with your sweet set up.

Chuck, that would definitely be the icing on the cake except, I am hunting exclusively with my St Joe River bow this year using AD Trad Lites with 175gr Woodsman Elites.

Hopefully something! I told my daughter I might have to borrow her giant stuffed bear for a while. She got a suspicious look and told me to get out of her room!

I have GOT to get a set of Rick's arrows to match up with my 68 Super Kodiak!  He's got some fine arrows.

B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L work, Rick... but that's absolutely NO surprise!!!

Put 'em to their intended purpose, now, Wanna!

Just found my Bear razors from 1973, they were never used until today. Shot real nice off of my Bear Kodiak Mag. and my Leon Stewart T/D. Wish my arrows looked as good as those.

Thanks everyone! I've got 4 more Razor heads that need to be mounted. As soon as Rick can match the color as close as possible, I'm going to have him make me a set to match my '76 Blue Stripe Super Kodiak.

Nothin but the best from Rick "Fletcher". You should see how many shafts he culls to get the good ones. I am proud to say he is my arrow building mentor as well so I hope one day to build them as well as he does. It is all in the details (small stuff). Congrats those are SWEET. Flint
