I just got a six-pac of Helix single bevel broadheads to try out. I got the 100 gr and put them on some 3555 gt's with 100 grain inserts about 490 grains total. I took them to the range and shot them a bit with my Big Jim Buff at 45#s. They really fly great and group with the field points. Bowwild is right you have to unscrew them from the target and penetration in foam was deep. They are sharp right out of the package and even after putting them into the foam at the range still sharp.

They just looked to interesting not to try. I'll see how they do on game I hope  :)

I thought I had the bow settled for this year. I was wrong. I've had "The Stick" since Thursday and am thrilled with the way it handles, feels, and shoots. In fact, at least one of the bows I have on order is in jeopardy now.

The "Stick" I'm referring to is designed by Tim Strickland and produced by Belcher. The grip, for us old timers is a bit remniscient of Groves and Carroll.
