bowfishing with my tradgang trade bow
« on: August 13, 2010, 02:19:00 PM »
I was finally able to get out and get on some fish and brought along my bow that I got in the bow trade this past july. It's 54in. and pulls 60@26. We got on em pretty good and shot until the rain set in. Good times. Great bow. Awesome memories. Here are a few pic.

My friend Chris came with me and ended up sticking two fish with one shot. That was the first time I have seen that.

Beats work!
What kind of fish are they?

Both are excellent eating.

Bighead taste a lot like walleye.

I have a friend that fixes what he calls poor man's lobster that's tastes great. It's real fast to fix too.

Dang! I'm hungry now!!..lol

Hey David, hope you like that little bow. Glad to see it getting used. I had a hard time shooting it because of the draw length, starts to stack after 26" and my shoulder was giving me some problems at the time. Seemed to shoot quite a bit  faster than my bow.I finished one for my son and have one for my daughter the same as yours except there 45 and 40 @ 28 so they can grow into them. Got to go the wife is yelling at me, nothing new.  Now take it out and kill some deer!
