Thanks Osagetree
« on: August 13, 2010, 05:23:00 PM »
Over in the Bowyers forum me and my son Jesse asked a lil advice on wether or not to back  Jesse's Red Oak Board bow... We received some good advice and an offer of a strip of Hickory backing from Osagetree....

As a Father, I just wanted to Thanks Joe... Thanks doesn't come close cover your help, assistance, and generosity!!! It is too much!!!! I am still humbled by your magnificent gesture of generosity!!!

Especially in this case... Now here's Jesse:
--------------------------------------------------
The package arrived safely earlier this week but we waited 'till we had time to glue it up. But when we opened it up, we had a BIG surprise...

A NEW GENUINE OSAGE SELFBOW!!!   :scared:
THANK YOU!!! The AWESOME bow in the package was a complete surprise! Thanks for the hickory backing strip, also. I never knew someone would be so nice! Once I can pull it back, and make some arrows for it, I will hunt with it and hopefully kill a deer.

Dad, Again:

It is a lil heavy yet, but he is building his shooting muscles and hopefully when he can draw the bow and learn to shoot it well enough... We'll take it to the deer woods.....

I am unable to put into words just how much this has meant to me and reaffirms how traditional archery has  effected me and my life!!! I know many folks who have lost faith in people and humanity.... Tradgangers don't have that problem!!!
Expect the best. Prepare for the worst. Capitalize on what comes.

Joe, all I will say is   :notworthy:    :notworthy:    :notworthy:
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

I'm not surprised at all by Joe's generosity or by Jesse's smile. Both very cool!
