Congrats to your wife and happy birthday to you. Ignorance is no excuse for bad customer service and personal feelings have no place in the workplace when dealing with the public, unless asked.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

:notworthy:  We need more people to take stands where they believe it right!  It's good she didnt push our viewpoint down throats and that she simply stated the clerk was out of line without being mean rude or snotty.

Bravo.   :clapper:

Your wife definately needs to contact the owner. I own a small business and I would like to know if an employee of mine did something like that. I applaud your wife for her actions! BRAVO!!

I was listening to a friend telling a hunting story a while back and a lady that just happened to be there said "on I wish you wouldn't talk about killing it makes me upset"my friend said with out a pause "oh madam please don't let your unreasonable fears ruin my good time" and went right on with his story. She just stood there blinking her eyes with a shock look on her face. It was great!

Thanks for the Bday wishes.

My wife did contact the owner yesterday and had a polite conversation with her.  This is a very well known bakery in town and my wife and the owner know of each other indirectly.  The owner was embarrassed and appologetic and said she would address this with the employee. Of course I told my wife how proud I am of her, especially for following up with the owner, which is where the long-term difference is made. I think her dealings with the employee were appropriate and level headed.
