GPS said about 8300.  The elk seems to hang out low around here just as much as they do in the high country.

Wow, that's higher than I thought. I guess I never think ,even Denver is at 5000 ft.....lol!

Considering it has been 100 plus degrees in N. Texas for the last few weeks those pictures make me envious. Thats right "Whip" we are not just about snow and cold weather. Blame the "Wensels" for your bad weather week in the Lone Star state.

jacob man are you ready buddy. That special tag and a lot of preseason  work. I am we are gonna see a great story in a few weeks. Have you been tuning thosee judging eyes.

LOL - Randy I sure have, been trying to check out every bull I see that I know the score to and trying to check myself.  Hope my adrenaline don't get the better of me...hehehe
