Midwest Traditional & Primitive Archery Expo
«
on:
August 17, 2010, 05:17:00 PM »
The 2011 Midwest Traditional and Primitive Archery Expo in Waterloo, Iowa, will feature several excellent seminar speakers including G. Fred Asbell, Steve Gorr, Paul Shore and Gene Winters. I'm also checking out Hunter Specialties Pro Staffer Phillip Vanderpool (a recurve shooter/turkey hunter).
I have expo information sheets, registration/contracts and vendor booth layout diagram (with bow try-out area) available for download by first going to
www.tradarchersworld.com
and then clicking on the official expo link. Tom

I think this could really become a great event for the middle part of the country. Thanks for your efforts Tom and enjoyed shooting with you this last weekend.

Thanks Bruce! We had quite the crew shooting, didn't we?
Vendors and attendees should note that there is a block of rooms reserved for expo people at the Waterloo Ramada Inn for a guaranteed discounted price until the event takes place, but right now there are rooms available online for less... kind of like online deals for airline tickets.

Several vendors have signed up so far but the deadline for receiving a 10% discount is fast approaching (Oct. 15). Some of the vendors coming are St. Joe River Bows, Black Widow Bows, Dwyer Longbows, Prairie Traditions/Bow Hospital and The Footed Shaft. This is a wonderful chance for vendors and attendees to build and develop a significant traditional and primitive archery event in the upper midwest. G. Fred Asbell, Steve Gore, Paul Shore and Gene Winters are four of the seminar speakers with a couple more possibles. Anyone interested in attending should visit
www.tradarchersworld.com
and click on the expo update link on the home page. Let's get this thing rolling. Sincerely, Tom Colstad

I think we need JK Traditions and Lost Creek! Mahaska is another Iowa bowyer.
