I got addicted this past year and was buying arrows like they were not going to make anymore. And the wife was madddddd.I was at the point that I was going to have to live in the back yard in a hut made out of arrows.
Archery addictions consume me to fast.

Definitely me since moving to woods. I've made 3 dozen arrows since buying my first 6 from Fletcher a month ago.
Guess I'll man up and post a pic. I make mine really simple - right down to my ghetto-cresting.
If I make them too pretty I won't shoot them. These are 80-85 Chundoo shafts.

I have about seven or eight dozen under my belt now and am starting to find excuses to build more. I even crown and crest aluminum. I'm probably a lost cause now!

I am addicted too, with wooden arrows of course (cedar actually but I want to try laminated birch for max weight).
A very simple color choice and cresting
the color of the feathers and shaft from nock to about 10" gives an indication on the type of point
a 1" white stripe with a thin red stripe in the midle gives me an instand bandwidth check.
And I use self nock and linen string to fasten the nock and the feathers (and only linen oil to protect my shafts)

Stinks up the garage pretty badly too!
I wouldn't say I'm addicted, but I enjoy it. Just something about shooting arrows you have built yourself.
