"Griffin Carbon" came today from McCullough
« on: August 19, 2010, 09:51:00 PM »
Just a bit ago opened up this up from John. A Griffin Carbon 60" 51@28 w/ Autumn leaf 3D camo dip, came from him with it applied. Think he said he has only done maybe six carbon backed bows. First impression is very good. Took it out, and was grouping nice with it shooting CE Heritage 250's with brace at 7 1/8". Bow is very smooth, very very quick, did I say quick, and sneaky quiet. It just may be in the top two longbow grips I have had the pleasure of wrapping the paws around, and John is certainly a treat to do business with. I can see why he is 24 months out on orders.... Enjoy

I have a couple of his "regular" bows and believe they rank at (or near) the top.

RASTA,

IF...IF you say? You ever seen Lanier or his other bud hold onto a bow long?

  :wavey:

He and Ralphy got it BAD!  :)

That handle looks like the one on his RACO I bought years back. Bit too stiff for my arthritic bones anymore at 54#, but still draws smooth and thumps.

I think anything John touches ...WORKS!
