I'll take pix later of something I just come up with after reading some of these post.. I have a small white LED light I got and attached it to the bolt that came with My bow fishing spool. This will sit just under My bow hand. I want to try it out first to see if it will work.

No reason why it shouldn't work Sal.
I've seen a lot of set-up's just like that. As long as it shines where you point your bow, it should be fine.
Pix are small, but the only thing I see that may be a problem is that if the peice coming out of the bow is round, the light may try to move around and end up on the bottom.
Probably best to work it(aim it) from the bottom of the rod...

Curt, I know they came out a little small don't why it did that the size is bigger on my puter.
The bolt is from My fishing rig so I didn't want to file down flat spots on it. I'll be getting another bolt and file 3 spots to help hold it. The blue stuff is from a portable EKG mech, I cut the 2 small pieces and that seems to be holding it nice and tight. Tonight when I shoot it I'll see if it doe move or not.
Plus with the way it is now I can just use My pinky to turn it on & off real easy.

For Pig Gig, I looked at a lot of bow light set ups and bought a bright Petzl headlamp with red light. I put industrial Velcro on back of lamp & my bow. Now just carry it my pack and stick it on if needed for night hunting. Very similar to Guru & Chris Surtees set ups...Doc

Another option for the screw in set ups is buy one of the Great Northern strap on screw-in adaptors for a bow fishing reel.

Nice Doc, I like the simple/light weight set-ups that are easily put on, and taken off.

Looks like I got a couple options to try before D-day. I'll be doing some night shooting here real soon.

Any performance issues with that light on the limb/riser?
