Following suit...Who's from Michigan
« on: August 21, 2010, 10:53:00 PM »
I was born here (Clarkston), lived all over the world due to my Dad's job, and me being in the US ARMY, but I was glad to move back to Michigan and have 4 very pronounced seasons.

Who else do we have in this wonderful state?

I'm a wannabe...Does that count?  My wife is from Kalkaska, and I would like to live somewhere with 4 distinct seasons.  Out here we have 2-warm rain and cold rain.

It's funny so many are from the Clarkston area. My family owned the lake that was across from where Seymore lake road hits M-15. The lake with the old white ranch house. My family owned that lake from the 1950's until just recently.

I grew up fishing and hunting there.

Grew up in the suburbs south of Detroit.

Live "up north" now. I`d go over the bridge if it wasn`t for starving to death.

I'm in Wellston - - between Cadillac and Manistee.  Might have 4 seasons, but that "white" one seems to be much longer than the others.  Rumor is that lake effect is going to be bad this year.

Born and raised also, I am living in the lakes area in southeast Michigan. My wife and myself would like to relocate in the northwest area of lower Michigan.   :wavey:
