I prefer the tie on. They don't tear up my gloves and tabs like the brass ones do. I also think I get a little cleaner release with the tie on.

Tie on! The metal ones are hard to adjust, plus they wear out my index finger. With a tie on (I use B-50) you can just twist it up or down the serving to tune your bow. It also looks more trad (IMHO). Tie on also costs next to nothing.

Tie on,, for tunning my bow I just twist it up and down the string and it follows the serving like its a threaded bolt,, and the tear on your glove isn't worth it. I tie a decent size ontop and a smaller one on bottom. I use the same material that I serve my strings with.

Tie on (less wear on my tab, potentially less stress on string if not applied properly, and cheaper).

I switched to tie-on a few years ago upon the urging of Steve Gorr. He felt the metal nock was not only tough on your glove, but it was also noiser.

Even though I could not tell the difference in noise, he insisted the metal against plastic has an audible "click" to it.

I guess if Steve can hear it, so could a deer.

I'll be the odd man out. I've tried tie-on nock sets but never really cared for them. For me, the brass ones are so easy and effective I can't imagine not using them.

I do a little of each.  I don't glue my tie-ons down once I have them set, and I have had one or two move on me.  Of course, that's happened with the brass as well when I don't squeeze them tightly enough.

Uh, tie on...'cause I do what every one else is doing.

I use the individual strings from an old endless loop bow string. I have lots of 'em since I've switched to flemish strings on all my bows.
