Yup!  Another tough day. It's a tough job, but somebody had to hold up that frame while Charlie lashed it together.

Ken,

Allow me to change my shirt next time your going to take a picture. It looks like I went swimming in the creek! Or maybe its from drawing back Kenny's stout Widow. lol

It was nice meeting everyone as well. Big and Little Ken, Charlie, John, Chris and Drew. It truly was medicine for my soul. I really appreciate you showing me your super secret honey of a spot. I hope to share it with any and all of you great hunters this season. Ill be sure to make some time to meet up again.

Food looks great. Hope all them rocks were laying around and you didn't pack 'em in. Nice work on the cooking ring/fireplace.

giff, your not that far away, I'm only 25 min. from the Mountain and I can be to Lake Ontario in about 3-3 1/2 hours, 4 hours to the border. Your closer than you think!!!

Bear is fair game in NY. they are abundant in the ADK's However, they are not easy to find.

No Baiting and No Dogs help them survive but since you cant really spot and stalk them you are reduced to good scouting and a little bit of luck (No not the NY state Lottery guy). You get a free bear license with your deer license  although I'm not sure how it works with Non-Residents.

If you were sharing camp with me and you do not get a bear tag, I will be happy to pretend I shot your bear.   ;)    ;)
