My New Thunder Child Pics
« on: August 25, 2010, 10:46:00 PM »
Jim emailed me pictures of the first of the twin Thunder Childs....

I want to use woods that were native to California....

Presenting the California Specials via Big Jims Georgia  :)

This is the older brother and twin #1 it 56" 50@28 Take down...Myrtle and Crotch Walnut with sheep horn top, bottom, belly and back...this bow is just about as good as it gets to me   :)

Thank you guys  :)  It will be a while before I can shoot it...Jim needs to keep it a while to match the grip on bow #2...

To quote Jim when he email the pictures I asked for he said "I don't know if these will make it better or worse"

I think better but anxious  :)

It took a long time to choose the woods and find California wood choices but had I known it would turn out like this......

I could not be any happier !!!

Jim is an ARTIST....

Very nice mate. Jim certainly is an artist and a very good bloke to deal with as well.
