America's Best Longbow Shooter with Wood Arrows

Congratulations to Dave Wallace of Marietta, OH. He proved again he currently is the best longbow shooter in America with wood arrows. At the 2010 I.B.O. World Championship in Ellicottsville, NY he won his fifth championship in the LB class. He also won the LB class in the 2010 I.B.O. National Triple Crown Championship as well as winning the LB 2010 I.B.O. Archer of the Year.

Dave is also an excellent bow hunter taking moose, elk, antelope, mule deer and many whitetail deer. One of his whitetails scored 178" P & Y.

Dave shoots a longbow of his own manufacture, Wallace Mountain longbows, and Elite wood arrows.

Congrats AGAIN Dave!! I have had the pleasure of shooting with Dave a few times in the late 90's. He is a great shooter for sure, and makes one of the nicest Hill style longbows you will ever lay your eyes on.

I have had the pleasure to shoot with Dave at a local club that we both belong to. Not only is he an excellent shot with his longbow, but he is as nice of a fella that you would ever want to meet.

He shoots his own bows......with his own shooting style that is a real pleasure to watch.

Dave shoots 3 under with a "Hill" style longbow of his own make.  Believe that he shoots a straight grip, B 50 string.  Not sure on his aiming style.  You can watch a slomo of him shooting on youtube.
