Checked the NPS website after I wrote my comment, it says the trail starts in Georgia. Just seems like you would want to go north to south so you were going downhill.  :biglaugh:  But the temp thing makes sense.

I love the mountains..... to be honest I've only seen them a whoopin 3 times lol. This sounds odd but I think rocks are the prettiest things, We dont have rocks around here. sand yup, ocean check, skeeters big enuff rape a humminbird by the truckload, but no rocks.
