ok guys, i run a thread in bow making supplies with no response. ive called around and tried to locate some with no luck. anyone know where to get some DIRTY BAMBOO(thats what i call it anyway) veneers?

A shooting buddy had a bow made with dirty boo limbs. It was a Big River longbow. You might check with him to see where he got his materials. Do a search for Big River bows and you should find a contact number. I'm sure he has no web site.

I'm probably talking out of school here, but I recall one particular bowyer telling me he just ran a torch over his 'boo veneers to "dirty" them up. Good luck!
