The stampede continues (with pics)!
« on: September 03, 2010, 11:42:00 PM »
Ok, this has been an amazing Bow Month. Here is bow number 2 that came in today.

My wait for this bow was literally 3 days! I was looking for a used version on the classifieds when Cherokee Scout (an appropriate handle as you will see) posted that Big Jim had exactly what I was looking for in the shop...no way it's a 6 month wait!

I called BigJim and sure enough, bow 'missed' weight for someone else, but made it perfect for me!!!! Thanks Cherokee Scout!

Here are the specs
Big Jim Buffalo
62"
56# @ 28"
Cocobolo and Zebra wood riser
Cocobolo limb veneers
Gemsbuck tips and on back of riser

Hits hard and quietest bow I've ever shot!

My other new bow is a strawberry blonde (http://tradgang.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=093213) and this one is my exotic brunette...huh maybe I need a platinum blond or fiery redhead?

Very nice, BigJim's coco veneers  are notch!

I don't need a take-down I don't need a take-down I don't need a take-down (repeat as much as needed)

How do you like the quiver?

That is some awesome cocobolo right there! Another beauty by Big Jim. Congrats!

I have one of those quivers. I haven't hunted with it yet, but used it at the Whittingham shoot last spring and I liked it. I'll be using it this season.
