These are my hunting arrows for this year. The first 2 pics are sourwood shoot arrows with self nocks, turkey feathers tied on with sinew and home made trade points or stone points, all hafted with pine pitch glue and sinew wraps. all sinew wraps are sealed with pitch varnish.
The last 2 pics are maple footed Hill cane arrows with turkey feathers tied on with silk thread and the points are 2 Wensel Woodsman, one Zwicky Eskimo and one stone point. Dacite I believe.
Probably not what you had in mind! d;^)

I'm looking forward to loosing these at some unsuspecting critter.  These are tipped with snuffers.

These are the duplicates I made to do my practicing with.  3 have judo heads, and the other 6 have field points

Been makin my own woodies for a long time, not quite the artisan that some here are! Nice arrows fellas.

I worked these up a couple days ago for this season. All are tipped with Woodsmen heads.

I made these and the bow and posted both not too long ago.  They'll be tipped with MA-2's and a small brass footing.  I took them out this weekend to the Nebraska Traditional Archers annual rendezvous and 3D.  They shot pretty good!

Thanks to everyone for the pics, mine should be ready tomorrow.  I'll post pics.  Dad still doesn't have a new pattern but I'll post his old ones.  He is looking for one with a high back swift style profile.  Luke

Mine ain't near as fancy as some that I've seen here, but give me time....this is my first batch ever.
I don't think I did too bad my first time around?
Afterall, the intention is merely to put one through an animal....right?

Best of all they shoot great!
Finger tip is touching the one with a broadhead on it, the rest are field points

I just ordered them from Suzanne St. Charles. They should be here by next Friday. Ordered the Stika Spruce field arrows with Blue and Orange fletching. Wensel Woodsman broadheads to boot. My son has ordered the same thing with Purple and Orange fletching. We also ordered six blunts and twenty with field tip each.

All this was made possible by winning a raffle at the Limerick Bowmen Archery Club! Yes, it was a great weekend. (:
