My new Bigriver recurve
«
on:
September 05, 2010, 06:43:00 PM »
Here are a few pics of my new Bigriver 2 piece t/d. It has a bacote riser with an ibeam of some unknown wood, bamboo core & brown glass. The tips are buffalo horn. I got the horn & bacote from my bud hornhunter. If anyone likes the tips, I can send them some small pieces for there bowtips. 53#@30", 60" with a sleeve system for the takedown. I will run her through the paces & take it along for an elk killing excursion in a week or so.

Sixby, that i beam isnt either of those. I helped John make this thing & he doesnt even know what it is. It looks like american cherry, but it is much harder & heavier than that. Any other ideas?
