I agree. sometimes they go to auction sites and see the buy it now prices and think that is what the item is worth. There is a guy locally who has an 71-72 Bear. He doesn't know anything about it except it is worth a $100.00 based on his research on Flea bay. He didn't want to hear what year the bow was from, didn't know weather it was right or left handed and didn't notice the handle was glued back together or the scratches and dings all over, but It's worth $100.00. He said "dont even try to low ball me because its a fair price and collectors are offering me 50.00 everyday". I told him to take the collectors offer and said I wont be buying the bow.
I think my dad was just looking for a cheap bow to keep around in case someone needed one given to him but for a Pawn shop to come down $180.00 seems like a lot.
