Does anyone know a source for cordavan leather? Enough to make a glove?

I know I've read one on here in the past.
Sorry, but I can't remember the source even though I went there and looked at it.
Have you tried doing a search?
God bless, Mudd

The road to "Sherwood" makes for an awesome journey.

Try local leather shops. They might have scraps laying around that they might sell for cheap.

Anyone that has cordovan will not sell it cheap. If you only need enogh to do the finger tips of a glove you should check with Don at Eagle Flight Archery (Sponser here). He has always helped me in getting some.

You might try Siegal in California. I owe Killdeer a couple of butts right now so I'm not anxious to sell much more. I have more on order but it'll be another 6 weeks before it arrives. Cordovan varies widely in cost depending on the size and quality.

I just bought some "north of cordovan" 6oz leather from Brettuns Village in Maine. It might be a bit thick for what you want. I used it for tabs. Cordovan comes from the back hakf of the butt, this stuff is the half in front of that on the haunch. Hence they call it north of.

The quest to improve is so focused on a few design aspects & compensating for hunter ineptness as to actually have reduced a bow & arrow’s effectiveness. Nothing better demonstrates this than mech. BHs & speed fixated designs
