First trad kill
« on: September 09, 2010, 09:29:00 PM »
Never posted a pic on here so we'll see how this goes.  Made my first trad kill in Canada last week on a nice black bear.  Felt great to get that first one under my belt after a miss on a deer last year.  I'm sure you can all imagine my excitement!  Got him with my brand new Tall Tines recurve too.  Awesome week!!

A pick of me and my brother with his bear he took the first night of the trip with his Zipper.

You just can't replace that feeling of your first trade kill.   Congrats on a fine accomplishment.   What a great way to break in to trad hunting!!!!!

Waaaay to go!!!!
To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.

Awesome job mate. Well done
