Does anyone hunt with an English longbow?
« on: September 11, 2010, 07:22:00 AM »
I know we have a lot of selfbow hunters here, but I'm wondering if anyone else hunts with an English longbow?  Mine is an osage orange selfbow made by Tradganger Shaun Webb.  It is a medieval-style ELB, meaning it is tillered round compass (bends through the handle) and has no shelf, handle wrap, etc.; it's literally just a stick and a string.  I'm using it on an upcoming bear hunt.  Is anyone else here hitting the field with something similar?
