I think what I will do is copy and paste the entries onto an email draft, without the names of the contributors. When the deadline come in I will go through them all, then search the quotes I like for the authors, and submit my picks to the Head Judge.

Killdeer, you are right, there is some good stuff here.

At the end of the contest I'd suggest that we each pick what we think are the five best quotes, and rank them in order. Each of the three of us can work independently. Then we can share our list and see which quotes shows up on the other lists. Judging from what we have already seen, it's going to be tough picking a clear winner.

Very sorry.  I didn't think it was that far out of line.  My error in judgement.  I will not post anything like that again.  Sorry if I offended anyone.  It was not my intention.
