A couple of Old Bears
« on: September 12, 2010, 03:26:00 PM »
Recently I picked up a couple of old Bears off the classifieds, both were in really good shape and are sweet shooters. A friend of mine gave me some Bear arrows tipped with the Bear razor heads a few years ago so I re-fletched them and figured I would give them a go this season along with the new to me Bears.

Looks like a '57 Kodiak Spacial, and a '60 Grizzly without her clothing on  :scared:

Very nice bows!!

That '57 Kodiak Special sure looks nice, who in their right mind would have sold that.

I’m sure you will miss her. I named her Honey for the color of her limbs and how sweet she shots. That Grizzly was yours also at one time.....stabow

You DID get some winners!  And left-handed too!  Tell ya what: you decide you don't like em, let me know.   ;)

My favorite "modern" bow is an old Kodiak Hunter that I found online.  Love it.  So much fun to shoot.  Good meat getter too.

I see it now stabow, he took the leather grip off of it. Nothing wrong with either bow, just had more imporatnt things to do with the money

Simply beautiful!
