I shoot a 54# pma take down at 28" I want to find a good hunting arrow.  Any advise would be greatly appriciated.

A 2018 aluminum with 125 up front would be a good start.Beman MFX 400s with 145-180 point should work as well.Theyre what I shoot from a similar bow.

I shoot a 50# @28" and use woodies 45/50 wirh a 145 grain point. works good for me, If you want wood try 50/55 wirh 145 grain point. Or try one of the test kits from 3 rivers.

Carbon express heritage series arrows are great!  I am a newbie this year and the arrows are very durable.  I have shot tagets 3d and stump shot all summer and only lost 1 to damage thanks to a rockpile.  If you like carbon try those.

I'd second the beeman mfx's 400  Thats what I shoot out of my widows. If you go with heavy fronts maybe even 340's.

60-65  cedar arrows, or surewood arrows

Love them with my 53# silent, heavy and accurate!!!!
