birthday deer
« on: September 13, 2010, 10:19:00 PM »
Most of you that know me , know that I love bluegrass music. Been playing since I was 7 yrs old. Today would have been Bill Monroe's 99th birthday and was my 48th. I shoot this doe late this afternoon after a birthday call from my friend Page (aka pebowbender) . Thanks for the good luck Page.

Rick Welch recurve , 48 @28. axis 500's , Abowyer brown bears, Kanati angle. shot was 10 yds . 0 yd recovery. spined her and she fell in her tracks. wish I had took a picture of the broadhead during the cleaning. It punched all the way through the backbone and was sticking out the brisket. had to unsrcrew it to get the shaft out of the deer. Happy hunting . Don
