That is good to know. I have a bow that I would like to have refinish. How would you describe his finish....smooth? frosted/textured?

Hi Joe,

I originally requested a smooth, slick finish. Joe sent pics after he finished it, but it was what I consider high gloss, which I thought was too shiney for hunting. He sprayed a final coat of Satin, which knocked the shine off, but it's still smooth and slick.

I'm not sure how many types of finish/textures Joe uses, but he can probably do anything you may want.

The particular piece he refinished for me was full of open pores, open grain, and full of pock marks. It came back smooth as glass.
