My Birthday Surprise
« on: September 14, 2010, 09:38:00 PM »
For my birthday this year my wife organized one heckuva a surprise.

Entirely on her own, she contacted a local guy who hosts a 3D shoot and set up a personal bowshoot for my friends and family. She designed t-shirts to commemorate the day and set up prizes for the winners of each class.

Then, for after the shoot she hired a DJ to host karaoke and prepared a spread consisting of her famous chili and pulled pork bbq.

This was easily the neatest thing anyone had ever done for me and I am forever "one-up'ed".

Pretty cool, huh?

The quest to improve is so focused on a few design aspects & compensating for hunter ineptness as to actually have reduced a bow & arrow’s effectiveness. Nothing better demonstrates this than mech. BHs & speed fixated designs

Happy B-Day, looks like a great way to celebrate.
She put a lot of effort in this one, you definitely have your work cut out for you to just match this, never mind topping it.

Of course a great way to thank her and compliment her on her idea would be to mimic it.  Find something she loves to do and organize an event to commemorate a date special to her.

Thanks guys. I, too, think she has solidified herself as a keeper. She even enjoys shooting my longbows.

Beyond this, I have guys down 2-3 times a week and she always accommodates the guys and, in some cases, their girlfriends/wives and children.

She definitely makes our place "the place" to be!
