Magnus Stinger weight

How does Magnus achieve the weight difference between their 125 and 150 grain Stinger heads?

I believe the weight difference is all in the ferrule.Someone else will probably be along to tell us more.

It's the same ferrule with bigger blades for the heavier weights.  I have all three sizes and there are very noticable differences in the blade size.  Also, when you order replacement blades you have to order them by weight.

The 125grn and 150grn the weight difference is in the ferrule. Check thier website the measurements on the blades 2 3/16" x 1 1/8" for the two and four blade 125grn and 150grn.
I'm no expert so I'll have to weigh them at work to be sure, but almost sure it's in the ferrule.
The 85grn and 100grn each use different blades.

Easily seen just by looking at the ferrule on a 125 versus a 150. it's all in the ferrule on these 2 ,I'm looking at both as I type this.

After reading this I got my heads out and looked at them again and turns out I was correct and wrong at the same time.  They all have different blades and different ferrules.  The 125 and 150 have the same length(or very close) and the same max width but the taper of the blade from back to point on the 125 is much sharper.  I don't know how I didn't notice but the ferrule of the 150 is much larger.

Weight diff. is in the ferrule....both 125 and 150 use the same main and bleeder blades.

Both weights are deer killers for sure!

On the 2 blades the 125 and 150's are not the same blade.  The 150's are bigger and the back edge is sharpened.  Unless they have changed blade deisgn as my 125's are pretty old.

I just got some new 125 grain 2 blades, and the back edge is sharpened, so maybe you are correct about yours being an older blade.

the blades are the same it's the ferral that is heavier and realy not even that i was in there shop a while back and asked the same question and it's the block that holds the bleeders in that is heavier is what they told me

buckeye they did change the desighn a while back i too have the blunt back edges and the sharp ones
