The Carp Run (Video)
« on: May 19, 2007, 10:08:00 PM »
Never posted a video before. Hope it comes out.

My old man shot this video the other day while up in Eastern South Dakota.

Then he went to the truck and got his bow!

Good luck up there Irish! Me and Humble Hunter are getting together tomorrow to try to thin the population. The carp and gar are definitely in the shallows, but they aren't moving much in my area. We just have to sneak around and peep them before they see us.  Went out today with my dad and a friend and we took these pics.

First carp of the season for me!

Prison Guard Greg with a little softshell that he nailed from an impressive range!

This 'dillo charged me as I was walking back to the truck.

This is my old man, topless, with his first bow kill since giving up bowfishing 20 years ago. He's still got the deadly touch! He recently picked up this Hoyt Gamemaster 2 for $250 and I convinced him we needed some father/son bonding. Wouldn't trade today for the world!
