Mr. Morin that was an awesome bull that you got. Your guess is right on too. 364 is what he comes out to green.

I am headed up the mountain again now gonna go see if I can find whip.

Wow, just an incredible bull!!!  If I was hunting elk this year I think I would go to the courthouse and have my first name changed to Randy before I left for the hunt!  :bigsmyl:
To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.

Again?!! Great story and pics, Randy, but wasn't it supposed to be Lindsays turn to shoot first? Every time I see a picture of you with another nice bull, I think of how your Dad fanagled you out of school to be in the elk woods. I'm sure that you thank him every year. Look at what THAT education has done for you. Congratulations,elk-meister!

Yeah Ray I think he means 363 "Gross" score.  Just that the measurement is "Green" as in the horns arent dried out yet...course you know that I'm sure. But I'm a terrible judge at these big Bulls.  Course I am getting better here lately.  :D

Good luck finding Whip Randy.  I'm gonna Antelope hunt Wed. then help some friends Thurs. Friday with some Elk calling.

Man, what a bull!!  Congrats, you certainly have the force with you.  Glad the knife was in your armory of skinning and butchering tools. I hope it is the first bull of many you use it on.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Congratulations, that is a nice bull.

I'll gusesstimate him at 347.

You done good...real good...Again!
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

Oh OK Randy, I guess I'll forgive you for ruining a perfectly good arrow on him!   ;)

Great Bull, Congrats my friend...  Thanks for sharing the story and pics with us!

Was that your new Pronghorn?

I'm not much of a "score" guy so I wouldn't have had a guess at how big he was other than "SHOOTER!!!"

Thanks everyone. I was able to get a nice little buck last night. I will add a thread for that in a few days. I will be headed back up the mountian soon. To hunt with Dad and friends.

I was able to find Whip. He is a great guy and a lot of fun to hang out and talk to.
